The song I’m jammin’ to today is ‘The Way’ by Ariana Grande ft. Mac Miller. There are so many reasons why I love this song!
Reason #1: I love the beat on the song. It samples Big Pun‘s ‘Still Not A Player‘, and that song samples Brenda Russell‘s ‘A Little Bit Of Love’.
Reason #2 : Ariana’s voice is beautiful! She has the ranges and octaves reminiscent to Mariah Carey!
Reason #3 : I love the Mac Miller feature. It gives the song that early 2000’s Ja Rule & Ashanti, Fat Joe & JLo feel to it.
Reason #4 : Ariana & Mac are just adorable together!
